Overview

The film deals with the problems encountered by a couple who want to marry each other and their families. After retiring, Muhlis Bey returns to his village with his family. The villagers do not want to accept this urban family into their community. Muhlis Bey's daughter, Alev, falls in love with Yağmur, the son of fisherman Ali Reis. However, neither Alev's nor Yağmur's families approve of this relationship. Despite everything, Alev and Yağmur will try to get married.
