Leni Parker is a Canadian television and film actress. She is best known for her portrayal of the androgynous alien Da'an in Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict. Parker was born in New Brunswick, Canada, in 1966. She attended Concordia University in Montreal, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance. After graduating, she began working with Pigeons International Theatre for the next 10 years. She was awarded Best Supporting Actress at the Theatre Critics of Quebec Awards in 1992 for her role as la Bonne in Coquelicots. Parker's television debut came in 1994, when she appeared in an episode of the series Due South. She went on to have recurring roles in the series Earth: Final Conflict (1994-2002), Street Legal (2000-2001), and 19-2 (2014). She has also appeared in a number of films, including Mommy's Prison Secret (2017) and The Perfect Husband (2018). In addition to her acting career, Parker is also a passionate advocate for social justice. She is a founding member of the Canadian Actors' Equity Association's Diversity Committee and has spoken out on a number of issues, including gender equality and LGBTQ rights.
